Spelling Monster
This Privacy Policy explains how Spelling Monster handles information when you use the app. Spelling Monster is designed as a simple spelling practice app for children and families.
Effective date: March 10, 2026
1. Information We Collect
Spelling Monster does not require registration and does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
To make the app work, it stores limited app data locally on the device, including:
- Your selected grade level.
- Your battle history and spelling results.
2. How Information Is Used
Local app data is used only to support core app features, such as remembering the selected grade and showing battle progress and history.
3. Data Storage
The app stores its runtime progress data locally on your device. Based on the current implementation, battle history is saved in the app's local application support storage. This data is not uploaded to a developer-owned server by the app.
4. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
Spelling Monster does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking in its current version.
5. Children’s Privacy
Spelling Monster is intended as a child-friendly educational experience. The app is designed to minimize data collection and to operate without user accounts or direct collection of personal information.
6. Third-Party Services
The current app experience does not rely on external user-facing third-party services for core gameplay or for storing user progress.
7. Your Choices
Because progress data is stored locally on the device, you can clear app data by deleting the app from your device. Depending on your device settings, local app data may also be removed when the app is uninstalled.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact the developer through the contact details provided on the app’s App Store listing or associated GitHub repository.
